On May 31st, the final B767 flight simulator training in Iceland was completed when V-ONE graduated yet another crew from DHL Bahrain with renewed qualifications. This marks a significant milestone for both V-ONE and Icelandair, which has now ceased operations of this simulator. It will be relocated to Amsterdam in the coming weeks and put back into use this fall under the CAE brand.
However, V-ONE will follow this simulator to Amsterdam and resume operations there in the fall with its loyal customers at DHL Bahrain, DHL Austria, Euroavia and others. At the same time, new opportunities will arise with a new A320 flight simulator here in Iceland, and exciting agreements regarding this are already under consideration.
